About the Founder

Katherine Sealy is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Event Cosmetics. With over 20 years of experience in dermatology, cosmetology, and fashion, Katherine Sealy's talents are known and sought around the country. As a former model, product consultant, and National Makeup Artist for Prescriptives Cosmetics and the Estee Lauder companies, Katherine has seen the business from every angle. Katherine draws on her vast experience in television, stage, and print media and behind the scenes at numerous runway shows from New York to Los Angeles. She can create any look you are hoping to achieve, from vintage to modern to natural. But Katherine's real talent lies in identifying and accentuating each client's most flattering features to reveal the natural beauty inside.

Katherine moved to Portland in June 2000. She can be seen regularly as a special guest on KATU's AM Northwest. Event Cosmetics is a featured artist for Portland Bride and Groom Magazine and the company's artistry has graced the cover of several issues of their magazine.
